Total Vulnerability Management
To secure corporate networks and successfully overcome malicious
network threats, organizations need to recognize vulnerability
assessment and remediation as an enterprise-wide, strategic process
involving: dedicated resources and technology. By combining process and
technology into a single solution, enterprises can: create and enforce
security policies, establish appropriate roles and responsibilities,
conduct ongoing audits, and report on the overall threat mitigation
status. Such a process must also facilitate the effective collaboration
between security and information technology groups. According to a
December 2003 Gartner Research report, "Enterprises that implement
a vulnerability management process will experience 90 percent fewer
successful attacks than those that make an equal investment only in
intrusion detection systems." This is the approach that eEye has
taken to help companies of all sizes better utilize existing resources
to mitigate threats and increase enterprise protection.

Actively shielding information assets and end-point devices during an attack through vulnerability prevention and preventing assets from launching intentional or unintended attacks through active shielding. |

Performing post-event forensic analysis after an attack to pinpoint and analyze internal and external security breaches or attack-related network performance challenges and network security risks. |
